Lauren Larsen

Lauren Larsen

Lauren Larsen was named as diving coach of Pepperdine's women's swim and dive team in August of 2018. She is in her second season in 2019-20.

Originally from Scottsdale, Ariz., Larsen graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, where she competed as a diver for four years. Prior to Pepperdine, Larsen coached with the Los Angeles Diving Club, beginning in the fall of 2017, working with Tom Stebbins, the Head Coach of the UCLA dive team.

"I couldn't be happier to have Lauren join our staff," Said head coach Joe Spahn at the time of her hiring. "As a diver at the University of Hawai'i under two hall of fame coaches, Lauren gained experience in a National level diving program. Her knowledge and passion will greatly impact our student-athletes."

Larsen has a background in gymnastics, tumbling and diving. A competitive gymnast for ten years, she started diving as a sophomore at Saguaro High School. As a junior in high school, Larsen joined the Clavadistas del Sol club team. She graduated from Hawai’i in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Communicology and a minor in Spanish.
