Won his first collegiate singles match with a 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-1 win over Navy's Nathan Nguyen at the UCSB Fall Classic (10/17).

NATIONAL TEAM: Was a member of Cyprus' Davis Cup Team. 

JUNIORS: Had a lifetime-best ITF World Juniors ranking of 195 ... Was a two-time ITF Junior Singles Champion and a six-time ITF Juniors Doubles Champion ... Also was a five-time ITF Junior Singles Finalist and a three-time ITF Junior Doubles finalist ... Ranked as high as 43 in the Tennis Europe U14 rankings ... Was a two-time Regional Tennis European Singles Champion.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from the G C School of Careers, located in Strovolos, Cyprus in 2022 ... Also attended the University of Arizona Global Campus in 2023 ... Is also a competitive skiier ... Won the U14 Cyprus National Ski Race.

PERSONAL: Son of Erica and Alexis Photiades ... Has two siblings, Andreas and Alexandra ... His father, Alexis, played tennis at MIT, was a member of Cyprus' Davis Cup team and skiied in the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympics ... His cousin, Photos Pavlos Photiades, played tennis for Yale from 2013-17 ... Plans on majoring in business administration ... Career goals are to become a professional tennis player and start his own business ...
