PEPPERDINE TRACK 2025 (SO): Competed in seven outdoor track meets, specializing in the mid-distance events ... Ran his season-best time in the 800 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/16-18) ... Set a personal best time in the 1,500 meters at the Jim Bush Legends Meet (3/21-22) ... Ran his collegiate-best time in the 400-meter dash at the Ben Brown Invitational (3/8) ... Set the school's 1,000-meter dash record at the Westmont Sunshine Open (2/8) with his time of 2:34.40.

PEPPERDINE XC 2024 (SO): Competed in two races as a sophomore.

PEPPERDINE TRACK 2024 (FR): Competed at nine meets as a true freshman … Primarily ran the 800 meters, but also ran the 1,500 meters three times and was on Pepperdine’s 4x400- and 4x800-meter relays … Ran his season-best time in the 1,500 meters with a 4:04.44 at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (3/22) … Ran his season-best time in the 800 meters with a 1:56.48 at the Chris Rinne Invitational (4/19).

PEPPERDINE XC 2023 (FR): Competed at three races as a true freshman … Was Pepperdine’s ninth runner with a 27:22.8 8-kilometer time at the LMU South Bay Twilight meet in his collegiate debut (9/1) … Covered the 8-kilometer course at the UCR Riverside Invitational in 27:04.3 (9/16).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from The Lovett School, located in Atlanta, Ga., in 2023 … A four-year varsity athlete … 2021 GHSA 2A Cross Country State runner-up … 2020 GHSA 2A Cross Country State champion … Had a sixth-place finish in the 800 meters at the State meet his junior year … A part of the 2021 4x400m All-State squad that earned a fifth-place finish … Also lettered in basketball and baseball … Has personal records of 16.11 in the 5K, 50.94 in the 400 meters, 1:59.40 in the 800 meters and 4:29.05 in the 1600 meters.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Atlanta, Ga. … Son of Fredda and Lee Hicks … Has one sibling: Bentley-Grace … Chose Pepperdine because “When I came on my official visit, the guys right away made me feel like I was a part of the team. Seeing how well connected they were as a team really captured my attention, and gave me a reason to want to be a part of the team. Outside of that, when I was 14, my family and I drove past the school, and as we were driving across America, I knew it was a school that I wanted to go to.”
