Pepperdine University Athletics

Sports Performance Center

In September 2009, the Department of Athletics unveiled its new Sports Performance Center, a strength and conditioning room that is used specifically for the institution's varsity athletic teams.

The facility, which is part of the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center, features state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment and is hugely beneficial to the on-going development of Pepperdine student-athletes.

The amenities include eight full-size Keiser squat racks, two Keiser air squat machines, a set of custom Ivanko Dumbbells ranging from five to 120 pounds, thousands of pounds of custom Ivanko OUEZ urethane-covered steel plates, a set of Pendlay olympic-style rubber bumper plates, three treadmills, and various other strength-building and rehabilitation machines.
