West Coast Conference Leadership Summit Hosted by Pepperdine
32 student-athletes from institutions throughout the West Coast Conference came to Malibu for the three-day event
She is in charge of handling all on-campus collaborations with students and other departments to build and grow the Pepperdine Athletics brand within the student body and campus. In addition to this, she serves as the graphic designer for the department and manages marketing and promotions for 10 intercollegiate athletic sports programs. Ristow also assists with specialty events -- including New Student Orientation, Blue & Orange Madness, the Hall of Fame ceremony and the Pep ESPYS student-athlete awards show -- coordinates internship opportunities within the department and oversees Riptide and Rally Crew Members.
She is a native of Ventura, California, and graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2010 with a degree in professional sports management. In 2012, she received her master's degree in sports management from Florida International University while working as a graduate assistant in the athletics marketing department.
Ristow has a background as a student-athlete herself, as she was a four-year starter for the Franklin Pierce women's volleyball team and served as its co-captain in 2009. During her time there, she was nominated and selected by the NCAA to attend and represent Franklin Pierce at the 2009 NCAA Leadership Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. She also served as the co-president for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
