Greg Salvage returned to Pepperdine as the Athletics Facilities and Events Manager for Pepperdine Athletics in 2016. He spent the previous 2 1/2 years at Cal Poly Pomona and was previously an intern with the Waves in 2013-14.

While at Cal Poly Pomona, he served as the Broncos' Sports Information Coordinator. Salvage's duties included story releases, website maintenance, care of social media accounts, game management, facility set-up/take-down/maintenance, game statistics, athlete and staff bios, public address announcer for soccer and baseball, and the occasional stint as the play-by-play announcer for baseball.

Throughout the 2013-14 academic year, Salvage served as an intern for Pepperdine Athletics in the facilities department under the guidance of Matt Kalish and David Rhoades.

After his time in the intern capacity at Pepperdine, he spent time interning with Cal Poly Pomona, including assisting in the operation of the 2014 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball West Regional hosted at Kellogg Arena.

Salvage coordinated and completed all athletics game setup and teardown, including the same work for third-party events.

While a student at Monterey Bay, Salvage also spent two years as the Sports Center Supervisor. In that facility, he cleaned and organized the weight room and ensured the safety of all Sports Center customers.

A Newbury Park native, Salvage played 16 years of competitive baseball, beginning at age three, continuing through his high school days at Newbury Park High School, and ending at CSUMB. His family includes parents Brian and Karen; brother Chris, who is a firefighter for Ventura County; and twin sister Haleigh, who is a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing in the San Diego Unified School District.
