Swim & Dive Releases 2026-27 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine swim and dive head coach Dan Marella has announced the full 2026-27 schedule for the Waves.
"We're super excited to get the season started, and show what Team One can offer," said Marella. "We are stoked to go against so many great teams, some familiar faces and some new ones."
Competition begins at home in Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool for the annual Rodionoff Invitational (Oct. 9-10) at 10 a.m. both days. The Waves stay in Malibu for a dual meet against San Diego State, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m., before select swimmers head south for the MPSF Open Water Championships in Long Beach, Oct. 17.
Pepperdine returns home for a tri-meet against Seattle U and Denver (Oct. 23-24), with competition set for 4 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday. From there, the Waves split squads: diving heads downtown for the Trojan Diving Invitational at USC (Nov. 12-14), while the swim team stays put for a home tri-meet against UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego (Nov. 13). The fall portion of the schedule wraps up with four days of the Northwest Collegiate Invite in Boise, hosted by the University of Idaho (Nov. 19-22).
The new year opens on the road, with the Waves in a tri-meet versus Utah Tech and again against the Aztecs, this time in San Diego (Jan. 8). Pepperdine is back in Malibu the very next day for a tri-meet against Colorado State and UTRGV. The Waves then travel for dual meets against the University of San Diego (Jan. 16) and UCLA (Jan. 23), before closing out the regular season at home against Azusa Pacific for Senior Day (Jan. 30).
The postseason opens with the MPSF Swimming and Diving Championship (Feb. 16-20), split by discipline this year — diving will be hosted by Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, with swimming on the campus of Utah Tech in St. George.
Should athletes produce qualifying times or scores, they'll have additional postseason opportunities in their sights. NCAA Diving Zones will be March 8-10 in Flagstaff, Ariz. The National Invitational Championships are again in Ocala, Fla. (March 11-13) while the NCAA Championships are in Austin, Texas (March 17-20).Â

ABOUT PEPPERDINE SWIM AND DIVE
Pepperdine swimming & diving has a rich history spanning four decades, having posted top-five finishes in its conference in 32 of 39 seasons. The Waves have captured three conference championships in the past four seasons, its first three conference titles, winning its first MPSF Championship in 2025 after joining the conference the season prior. In 38 seasons in the PCSC, the Waves saw 48 individual champions and 20 PCSC Swimmer or Diver of the Year awards. Andreea Trufasu stands as the program's lone Olympian, having competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
