MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine women's tennis has revealed its fall 2026 schedule, announced today by head coach Tassilo Schmid.
The Waves will send athletes to eight International Tennis Federation (ITF) events throughout the fall, while competing in five collegiate events, with three Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) tournaments, leading up to the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championship in November.
Pepperdine will open the fall at the ITA All-American Championships, held Sept. 19-26 in Cary, N.C. The annual event will feature many of the nation's top collegiate players to kick off the 2026-27 campaign.
The first ITF event on the schedule is the W50 Berkeley, set for Sept. 21-25 at the Berkeley Country Club in Berkeley, Calif. The Waves will then send athletes to compete at the ITF W100 Templeton from Sept. 28-Oct. 2 at the Templeton Country Club in Templeton, Calif., before returning to collegiate competition for Battle in the Bay Classic. The annual tournament will take place Oct. 1-4 at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco.
A busy October continues with ITF events across the country. Pepperdine players are slated for opportunities at the W35 Las Vegas from Oct. 5-9, the W100 Edmond and W35 Redding from Oct. 12-17 and the W35 Bakersfield and W50 Austin from Oct. 19-24.
The Waves will also head to San Diego for the ITA Regional Championships from Oct. 15-20, with NCAA qualification berths on the line. Pepperdine's final ITF event of the fall is the W100 New Braunfels, scheduled for Oct. 26-31 at the John Newcombe Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
November will feature three events to close out the fall. The American Tennis Open Miami is scheduled for Nov. 2-7 in Miami, while the ITA Conference Masters will be held Nov. 5-7 in Rome, Ga. The Waves will also compete at the ITA Sectionals from Nov. 5-7 in Los Angeles, the final opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
The NCAA Singles & Doubles Championship will be held Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Ga., at the University of Georgia.
The Waves are coming off an NCAA Quarterfinal appearance in 2025-26, returning the entire singles and doubles lineup from the deep postseason run.
