
Swim & Dive Three Days Through MPSF Championships

EDINBURG, Texas – Pepperdine Swim & Dive sits in seventh place heading into the final day of MPSF conference championship action.
ÂPepperdine's top finishers in each of today's events were as follows:
- 100 fly: Aliyah Fan (54.72)
- 400 IM: Ansley Halbach (4:26.66)
- 200 free: Aliyah Fan (1:54.72)
- 100 breast: Kiana Fan (1:03.74)
- 100 back: Kylie Taylor (59.33)
The Fan sisters both broke into their event's respective top tens. Aliyah earned sixth in the 100 fly while Kiana took ninth in the 100 breast. The younger sibling has strung together a notable individual showing for Pepperdine.
ÂAnsley Halbach's time was good for a new program record. She bested Emily Morton's time of 4:27.11, set in 2020.

ÂABOUT PEPPERDINE SWIM AND DIVE
Pepperdine swimming & diving has a rich history spanning four decades, having posted top-five finishes in its conference in 32 of 39 seasons. The Waves have captured three conference championships in the past four seasons, its first three conference titles, winning its first MPSF Championship in 2025 after joining the conference the season prior. In 38 seasons in the PCSC, the Waves saw 48 individual champions and 20 PCSC Swimmer or Diver of the Year awards. Andreea Trufasu stands as the program's lone Olympian, having competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
