MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine swim and dive closed out its two-day tri meet at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool on Saturday, defeating Seattle U on both days and falling to Denver. The Waves remain unbeaten against the Redhawks all-time.Â
"Another good performance from the Waves today," head coach Dan Marella said. "The divers started us off strong in the 3-meter. Saturday was a milestone swim for Ava Taylor—breaking five minutes for the first time in the 500 free. The whole distance group really putting their best foot forward this early in the season is awesome to see too. Our rookies did a phenomenal job racing some really good competition. I'm looking forward to our next competition at home in a couple of weeks."

Mollie Cho and Sophie Ware went two-three in the 200 fly, touching in 2:05.93 and 2:07.91. Freshman Carlee Davis placed third in the 200 free (1:51.94), Jena Kistler was third in the 200 breast (2:19.89), and Aliyah Fan was third in the 100 fly (56.98).
