MALIBU, Calif. — No. 13 Pepperdine women's tennis (2-0) will head to Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend for ITA Kickoff Weekend, with Clemson joining the Waves and host Tennessee.
The Waves will take on Clemson Friday at 1 p.m. ET, with the winner set to face No. 16 Tennessee Saturday at Noon ET.
The team to win Saturday's match will qualify for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships held from Feb. 6-10 in Chicago. The original quartet for the weekend included No. 22 Washington, who were unable to make the trip due to travel concerns with impending weather.

Pepperdine women's tennis has been a consistent powerhouse in the collegiate scene, reaching 40 NCAA Tournaments since 1982 including 28 straight appearances. Since 2018, the program has seen three national runner-ups between both singles and doubles while reaching an NCAA Regional as a team eight times in the past nine tournaments. The success at the conference level has been paramount with 33 WCC Championships including an active streak of 11 consecutive conference titles.
