MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine Athletics announced today the launch of Waves Excellence, a new initiative dedicated exclusively to supporting strategic investments in student-athletes made possible by the recently approved House v. NCAA Settlement. The initiative represents a bold step forward for Pepperdine Athletics, enabling the department to strategically participate in revenue sharing (institutional NIL) and expanded scholarship opportunities beginning in the 2025-26 academic year.

"The launch of Waves Excellence represents our commitment to competing at the highest levels while staying true to Pepperdine's values," said Tanner Gardner, Director of Athletics. "The Waves Excellence Fund allows us to directly invest in our student-athletes in new and meaningful ways.
