Pepperdine Women's Golf Strengthens 2024-25 Roster with Standout Recruit

MALIBU, Calif. – Head coach Laurie Gibbs announced today the signing of recruit, Nishna Patel of Mumbai, India, who will join the Pepperdine women's golf team for the 2024-25 season.

Posted first and fourth-place finishes at back-to-back professional tournaments on the 2024 Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour … Posted three top-six finishes in amateur tournaments this year in India thus far … Represented India at the Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs, the Queen Sirikit Cup (Philippines), the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship (Singapore), the Women's Amateur (England), the Dutch International Junior Open (Netherlands), the R&A Girls Amateur Championships and World Amateur Team Championship (United Arab Emirates) in 2023 … Won 2023 IGU Western India Championship … Finished second at the 2023 Asia Pacific Junior Championship … Marked a fourth-place finish at the 2023 Dutch International Junior Open and finished in the round of 16 at R&A Girls Amateur … Tallied 11 top-10 finishes in India professional, amateur, and junior tournaments …  Ranked No.1 in 2022 in India women's amateur … Represented India at the World Amateur Team Championship (France), the Women's Amateur Championship (England), Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship (Thailand) and the World Amateur Junior Championship (United Arab Emirates) … Posted 10 top-six finishes at the biggest amateur tournaments throughout India.
