HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Pepperdine women's beach volleyball program finished the fall competition schedule at the AVCA Fall Pairs Championship today.
Emma Eden and
McKenna Thomas highlighted the day with a three-set win against USC.

In the consolation bracket, senior
Kate Clermont (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) and senior
Madison Oriskovich (Santa Barbara, Calif.) dropped their lone contest of the day against the Boise State duo of Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden in straight sets, 21-19, 21-18.

In the consolation bracket, freshman
Emma Eden (Albuquerque, N.M) and senior
McKenna Thomas (Laguna Niguel) came out on top in a three-set battle over the USC pair of Bailey Showalter and Kaylee Young. Eden and Thomas won the first set 21-17, before the Trojans bounced back and forced a third set with a 21-12 victory in the second. In the final set, the Waves found a way to grind out a 15-13 win and take the match against the Trojans.
After winning their first match of the day, Eden and Thomas fell in straight sets to Presley Murray and Taylor Pierce from North Florida.
