MALIBU, California – After a pair of dominant wins over the weekend,
Nikki Redelijk was named the West Coast Conference singles player of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday.
In matches at Pacific and Saint Mary's, Redelijk (Windermere, Fla.) dropped just five games in two completed matches. She defeated Pacific's Danielle Zamora 6-1, 6-3 and Saint Mary's Madison Weekley 6-0, 6-1 to help Pepperdine sweep both opponents. The junior is 6-1 this dual season in singles playing from the fourth, fifth and sixth positions. She has won her last five decisions and has not lost in nearly two months.
This is the first career weekly WCC award for Redelijk.
