Broadus and Tjen Earn WCC Doubles Team of the Week Honor

MALIBU, California – After their 13th dual win of the season, Savannah Broadus and Janice Tjen of the #5 Pepperdine women's tennis program have been named the West Coast Conference doubles team of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday.

In their only match of the week, #1 Broadus (Carrollton, Texas) and Tjen (Jakarta, Indonesia) defeated Gonzaga's duo of Kianna Oda and Adrianna Sosnowska 6-1 to help Pepperdine take the doubles point and defeat the Zags 7-0. The 2022 ITA All-Americans in doubles are 13-2 this dual season and an astounding 28-3 together in the 2022-23 campaign.
This is the ninth career weekly WCC award for Broadus and Tjen dating back to last year and the seventh such honor this season.

Pepperdine will be back in action on Wednesday, April 12th at #24 UCLA. First serve is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
