Zeitvogel Receives Weekly WCC Honor

MALIBU, California – Following three wins in five days, Tim Zeitvogel of the Pepperdine men's tennis program has been named the West Coast Conference singles player of the week as announced by the league on Tuesday.
 
#79 Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany) had a perfect week for the Waves, taking down three opponents from top-31 programs – and two top-60 singles opponents. He defeated #59 Roko Horvat from Columbia and Chase Ferguson from Oklahoma State in straight sets on Wednesday and Thursday before defeating #24 Peter Makk of USC on Sunday in three sets.
 
This is the second career weekly honor in singles for Zeitvogel and the first this season.
 
Pepperdine is back in action on Saturday, March 25 as the Waves host LMU at 10 a.m. before welcoming in #28 California at 3:30 p.m.
