In juniors, Conway won the 2019 16U Girls Winter National Tour Finals and made the 2022 Junior Wimbledon Quarterfinals. On the ITF circuit, Conway has reached the quarterfinals 12 times, the semifinals four times and was the singles runner-up at the 2022 W15 Sharm El-Sheikh.

"I chose Pepperdine because of the coaches and the tennis program, as well as the atmosphere the school provides," Conway said.

Another blue-chip recruit for the Waves in 2024, Taylor Goetz is the No. 8 player in the class of 2024. She was the top-ranked player in the USTA's 16S rankings, and her career-high Junior ITF ranking is 166.

Goetz won the singles title at the USTA 16S Winter Nationals and the USTA 16S Hard Courts Doubles title. Additionally, she is a three-time ITF Junior Title winner in singles (2021 J5 Islamabad, 2021 J4 Lexington, 2021 J5 Managua) and a two-time winner in doubles (2021 J5 Islamabad, 2021 J5 Managua). She also qualified for the 16S Orange Bowl and made it to the semifinals, plus she has played in the Junior Australian Open.

Goetz comes from a tennis family: Her older brother Ryan played on the fourth line for Virginia's back-to-back national championship teams in 2022 and 2023, while her older sister Alexa played on Division III Emory University's 2021 national title-winning team.

"I am choosing to attend Pepperdine mainly because of the coaches, Per Nilsson and Pete Billingham, as they don't only emphasize results, but focus on player development," Goetz said. "I also love the team and the energy they bring. The academics at Pepperdine are exceptional and a great place for me to grow academically and athletically."
