Women's Tennis Adds Graduate Transfer to Roster

MALIBU, California – The #10 Pepperdine women's tennis program has bolstered its roster with the addition of graduate transfer Anna Campana to the squad in advance of the 2023 dual season.

Campana, the younger sister of current Wave Carolyn Campana, comes to Malibu from Wake Forest where she was ranked as high as #75 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in the 2022 dual season. The Hillsborough, California native played primarily in the #2 position and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete. In 2021, Campana was ranked as high as #21 nationally and was a mainstay in the Demon Deacons' lineup. In her COVID-shortened season of 2019-20, Campana went 19-6 in overall singles, including a 7-3 record in dual play and had a high-water mark of #82 in the ITA singles rankings.

The Waves begin the dual season on Sunday, January 22 with a road match at #12 California. First serve is scheduled for 1 pm.
