MALIBU, California – Following a nearly two-month hiatus, the Pepperdine women's swim and dive program returns to action this weekend with two swim competitions and a dive-only event at UCLA.
Meet 11: Thursday (January 12) at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, California: Pepperdine vs. Fresno State at 3 p.m.
Meet 12: Friday (January 13) at Aztec Aquaplex in San Diego, California: Pepperdine at San Diego State at 11 a.m.
Meet 13: Friday and Sunday (January 13 and 15) at Spieker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles, California: Pepperdine at Bruin Diving Invite
Both dual meets are swim-only events. Pepperdine swimmers last competed at the Utah Tech Invitational in St. George, Utah, in mid-November, taking ninth place out of 11 teams. In the last dual meets for the Waves, Pepperdine hosted both UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego on November 5th, falling to both squads.
On November 11 and 13, Pepperdine divers went to Los Angeles and took part in the Trojan Diving Invite, where all five divers advanced to both the finals of the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions. Following the event, freshman
Delainey Pisaruk was named the PCSC Diver of the Week for the first time in her career.
After this weekend, Pepperdine will host San Diego and Loyola Marymount on Friday and Saturday, January 20-21.
