CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Pepperdine women's tennis program saw its season come to a close on Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex.

Savannah Broadus (Carrollton, Texas) and
Janice Tjen (Jakarta, Indonesia) were defeated by top-ranked Jaeda Daniel and Nell Miller of NC State, 7-5, 6-4. The pair's first season together resulted in a 24-4 overall record, including a 17-1 mark in dual matches. The .857 overall winning percentage is good for sixth on Pepperdine's single-season winning percentage list for overall matches. The 24 wins are also good for sixth all-time on the single-season wins list as a duo.
The pair's 17 dual wins put them third all-time in the record books for single-season wins at the #2 position as a duo.
As a team, Pepperdine earned four All-Americans through the NCAA individual championships while making its furthest appearance in the singles championship since 2018 and in the doubles championship since 2000.
