CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Pepperdine men's tennis program had a participant in the NCAA Singles Championship for the first time since 2014, but #24 Daniel De Jonge saw his season end in the first round of the tournament at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex on Monday afternoon.
De Jonge (Vlissingen, Netherlands) fell to #43 Andres Martin of Georgia Tech in straight sets, 7-6 (5), 6-4.
The senior ended his season with 25 wins, including 13 in the dual season, while being named an All-West Coast Conference first-team performer.
