#19 Men's Tennis Fares Well at Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship

LA JOLLA, California – The Pepperdine men's tennis team stepped out of dual play this weekend to compete at the annual Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship hosted by the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.

Throughout the weekend, the Waves went 9-4 in doubles following the completion of Thursday's dual win against Nebraska.

Two doubles pairs advanced to Saturday afternoon's round of 16, as Daniel De Jonge (Vlissingen, Netherlands) and Eero Vasa (Turku, Finland) along with Corrado Summaria (Cosenza, Italy) and Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany) dropped Saturday afternoon contests as Pepperdine's longest-lasting representatives.

All four Pepperdine pairs won first-round matches to advance to the round of 64, and three doubles teams made it through to the round of 32.
