MALIBU, California – For the first time in her career,
Delainey Pisaruk of the Pepperdine women's swim and dive team has been named the Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference diver of the week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
At the Trojan Diving Invite hosted by USC over the weekend, Pisaruk (Phoenix, Ariz./Pinnacle HS) placed 12th in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions. In the 3-meter event on Friday, she had a combined score of 401.30. On Sunday, she put together a 401.60 performance in the 1-meter competition.
This is the sixth weekly award for the Waves this season.
Vivian Vallely and
Jenna Sanchez were athletes of the week on November 8, while
Charli Sunahara,
Amanda Wong and
AJ Adams were named the conference's athletes of the week on October 18.
Pepperdine heads to St. George, Utah, this week for the Trailblazer Invite from Thursday through Saturday (November 17-19). This is the final fall competition for the Waves.
