MALIBU, California – The Pepperdine men's tennis program prepares to host its first and only tournament of the fall as the region's best players will descend on Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center for the ITA Southwest Regional Championship this Thursday through Monday (October 20-24).

Live video will be provided for six outdoor courts and the link is also available on PepperdineWaves.com. Admission is free to the event. Estimated start times for Thursday through Sunday is 9 a.m., while the start time of Monday's matches is yet to be determined.

Eric Hadigian (Sacramento, Calif),
Maxi Homberg (Freising, Germany),
Robert Shelton (Lancaster, Pa.),
Max Wuelfing (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) and #45
Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany).
In the Waves' last tournament, the ITA All-American Championships, De Jonge reached the singles round of 32 before bowing out to eventual champion Ethan Quinn from Georgia, the top newcomer in the country. De Jonge and Zeitvogel won three qualifying matches to advance to the doubles main draw, where they dropped the opening-round contest before winning a pair of back draw matches to advance to the consolation semifinals.
Singles and doubles champions, along with the runner-up in the singles draw, will qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego from November 2-6.
Last season, Pepperdine's
Andrew Rogers claimed the singles title, while
Pietro Fellin (Milan, Italy) was the singles runner-up as two Waves punched tickets to the National Fall Championships.
