SUNNYVALE, California – In the final regular-season race, the Pepperdine men's and women's cross country teams continued to climb the Pepperdine all-time lists and set new personal records at the Bronco Invitational on Saturday morning.
Graduate student
Will Bullock led Pepperdine in the men's invitational 8K in a time of 24:43.3, which moved him from 13th all-time to tied for eighth all time and collected a new personal record set at Eastern Illinois by 0.4 seconds. Freshman
Joshua Bergers marked his name 13th on the Pepperdine all-time with a time of 25:11.6, which is also a new personal record by 20.4 seconds. Sophomore
Elias Spence also moved up on the all-time list from 18th to 14th, with a time of 25:11.7, which was 10.8 seconds faster than his previous personal record. Junior
Nate Lannen tied his personal record and junior
Ryan Hemphill and freshman
Kai Newman each set new personal records. The men placed 19th out of 26 teams (14th among Division I schools)
On the women's side, senior
Olivia Miller led the women in the 6K invitational in a time of 22:11.5, which was a new personal record by 28.3 seconds and moves her from 20th all time to 12th. Juniors
Elle Shrader and
Skylar Davis and freshmen
Savannah Shaw, Abby Winter and
Faith Talbott all set new personal records as well
. The women placed 25th out of 28 teams (22nd among Division I schools). In the women's open 6K, freshmen
Hannah Renager, Nicole Hartung and
Madison Mason all notched new personal records by two to three minutes.
MEN'S INVITATIONAL 8K LEADERS

- Junior Johnathan Flint (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound HS) 25:06.1, 111th overall.
- Freshman Joshua Bergers (Cohasset, Mass./IMG Academy) 25:11.6, beat his personal record by 20.4 seconds, 120th overall.
- Sophomore Elias Spence (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg Area HS) 25:11.7, new personal record by 10.8 seconds, 121st overall.
- Junior Nate Lannen (Southlake, Texas/Carroll HS) 25:30.8, tied his personal record, 149th overall.
WOMEN'S INVITATIONAL 6K LEADERS
- Senior Olivia Miller (Tallahassee, Fla./Lawton Chiles HS) 22:11.5, beat her personal record by 28.3 seconds, 122nd overall.
- Sophomore Megan LaCamera (Burbank, Calif./Burbank HS) 22:40.9, 153rd overall.
- Junior Elle Shrader (Boerne, Texas/Boerne-Samuel V. Champion HS) 23:04.1, new personal record by 8.7 seconds, 171st overall.
- Freshman Savannah Shaw (Downingtown, Pa/Downingtown STEM Academy) 23:12.0, beat her personal record by 1:25.2, 181st overall.
- Freshman Abby Winter (Edina, Minn./Southwest Christian HS) 23:28.0, new personal record by 54.4 seconds, 187th overall.
