Waves Host Cal State East Bay This Weekend

MALIBU, California – The Pepperdine women's swim and dive program continues its two-week homestand with a pair of swim-only dual meets against Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference rival Cal State East Bay this weekend.

Meet 3: Friday (October 14) at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, Calif.: Pepperdine vs. Cal State East Bay at 4 p.m.

Meet 4: Saturday (October 15) at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, Calif.: Pepperdine vs. Cal State East Bay at 11 a.m.

Live streaming of the event will be available on the WCC Network. Links are provided on PepperdineWaves.com. Admission to the events is free. Because of limited bleacher seating, fans may choose to bring a blanket or chair to sit on the hillside. Fans can park in the Firestone Fieldhouse lot. Parking is extremely limited, especially with Blue and Orange Madness on Friday night, so plan to arrive early.

Last weekend, Pepperdine hosted San Diego State in a condensed dual meet before hosting the second annual Rodionoff Invitational. Though the Waves fell to SDSU, they quickly rebounded to garner the most points among Division I opponents throughout the Rodionoff Invitational.

The Waves were defeated in a dual meet in East Bay last October, but Pepperdine claimed a victory when it counted most at the PCSC Championships. The Pioneers were the conference runner-up.

Following the completion of the two-week homestand, the Waves will head to Northern California to face San Jose State and Cal Poly next weekend, October 21-22.
