MALIBU, California – Coming off a successful 2021 campaign, the Pepperdine women's swim and dive team announced their 2021-22 season schedule on Tuesday.
 
The schedule is highlighted by three home meets, including the annual Malibu Invite October 8-9.  San Diego State visits Malibu on October 7, while the Waves host Azusa Pacific on January 29.
 
Other multi-team meets include the Trailblazer Invite at Dixie State in November and the WCC Cup in San Diego on January 21-22.
 
Road dual meets at CSU East Bay, UC Davis, LMU, San Diego State, Fresno State and CSU Bakersfield round out the season schedule for the Waves.
 
The peak of the swim season will be the PCSC Championships, held at Dixie State from February 16-19. Qualifying athletes will compete in the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Elkhart, Ind., from March 11-15.
 
The Waves earned a runner-up finish at the PCSC Championships last spring. Head coach Ellie Monobe was named PCSC Coach of the Meet, while the team broke three school records and won nine events. Pepperdine boasts 16 returners for 2021-22, while adding 10 newcomers – nine freshmen and a graduate transfer.
