MALIBU, California – Following two highly successful seasons, the Pepperdine men's and women's tennis teams announced their respective fall schedules on Tuesday.
The men open their fall with a trip to Knoxville, Tenn., to play three days of singles and doubles against Tennessee, Kentucky, and Columbia at the Knoxville Showdown on September 10-12. A week later, some Waves will head to Wisconsin for the Milwaukee Tennis Classic from September 17-19, while others will compete at the Battle of the Bay in San Francisco the same weekend. Other highlights of the fall include the ITA All-American event at Tulsa from October 1-9, the ITA Regionals hosted by Pepperdine at Ralph Straus Tennis Center on October 21-25, and the ITA Nationals in San Diego from November 4-7.
The women have three events scheduled for the fall. First, they will participate in the Battle of the Bay from September 16-21 in San Francisco. The ITA Regional Championships will be held in San Diego from October 21-25, and the ITA National Fall Championships take place November 4-7 in San Diego as well.
Both programs earned West Coast Conference titles and trips to the NCAA Tournament last spring.
