Cross Country Sets Fall 2021 Schedule

MALIBU, California – First-year head coach Lauren Floris announced Pepperdine's fall 2021 cross country schedule today.

"We are excited to have a full schedule of races on the calendar this fall," Floris said. "We have a talented group of returners and newcomers that are eager to mix it up in some competitive races while chasing personal bests."

The schedule consists of:

Saturday, September 4: Mark Covert Classic (Brea, Calif.; host: Cal State Fullerton)
Saturday, September 18: UC Riverside Invitational (Riverside, Calif.; host: UC Riverside)
Friday, September 24: Roy Griak Invitational (Falcon Heights, Minn.; host: Minnesota)
Saturday, September 25: The Master's Invitational (Santa Clarita, Calif.; host: The Master's)
Saturday, October 16: Bronco Invitational (Sunnyvale, Calif.; host: Santa Clara)
Friday, October 29: WCC Championships (TBD; host: Saint Mary's)
Friday, November 12: NCAA West Regional (Sacramento, Calif.; host: Sacramento State)
Saturday, November 20: NCAA Championships (Tallahassee, Fla.; host: Florida State)

Pepperdine's men are coming off a fifth-place finish at the 2020 West Coast Conference Championships (postponed to February 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), the program's best result since 2008. This was the only cross country meet held in 2020-21. Of the five scoring runners at the meet, Pepperdine returns three of the men and all five women.
