Pepperdine Tennis Ends Fall Season

SAN DIEGO, California – The Pepperdine men's and women's tennis programs wrapped up an impressive fall at the ITA Fall National Championships in San Diego.

Pietro Fellin (Milan, Italy) and Lisa Zaar (Stockholm, Sweden), both ITA Southwest Regional champions, dropped hard-fought consolation final matchups to cap successful fall runs.

At the Jack Kramer Invitational in Los Angeles, the Pepperdine women claimed both the singles and doubles titles, with Shiori Fukuda (Tokyo, Japan) winning the singles crown and Fukuda claiming the doubles championship with teammate Savannah Broadus (Carrollton, Texas).

On the men's side, Corrado Summaria (Cosenza, Italy) knocked off top seed Quinn Vandecasteele from Oregon in the semifinals before sweeping Oregon's Joshua Charlton to take home the title.
