Waves Wrap Up Play at All-American Championships

TULSA, Oklahoma – A memorable week for the Pepperdine men's tennis program came to a close Friday at the ITA All-American Championships.

The Waves amassed a 19-8 record including both singles and doubles. Pepperdine also sent three players to the main draw for the first time in eight years while compiling six ranked wins in Tulsa.

Both Eric Hadigian (Sacramento, Calif.) and #125 Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany) fought valiantly during Friday's consolation matches but ran out of gas against two very good opponents.

"We had some positive results that confirm our development. I'm proud of the boys for the growth they are making. But our competitive presence has a long way to go. We are too quick to criticize ourselves and make drama. We will work hard to improve our in-between calm and confidence before Regionals."

--Adam Schaechterle, Head Coach
