TULSA, Oklahoma – The Pepperdine men's tennis team racked up 15 wins over four days in the pre-qualifying and qualifying rounds, seeing three individuals move on to the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships that start on Wednesday.
Both of Pepperdine's nationally ranked players handled business in the qualifying round, as #117 Daniel De Jonge (Vlissingen, Netherlands) and #125 Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany) had strong showings. Zeitvogel took down the #53 player in the country, Dimitri Badra from ETSU, in the process.
Eric Hadigian (Sacramento, Calif./Gonzaga) got hot at the right time, going undefeated in the pre-qualifying and qualifying rounds to go a perfect 7-0 so far in Tulsa. Hadigian defeated two ranked opponents, including one ranked #52 in America – Fabien Salle from Arizona State.
