CONCORD, California – The Pepperdine men's and women's cross country teams competed in the West Coast Conference Championships on Friday morning. The men were led by
Kyle McCabe in the men's 8K and
Megan LaCamera was the front-runner for the Waves on the women's side in the 6K. McCabe also led the men in last year's WCC Championships.
The men finished sixth overall, while the women took 10th. The men had a strong finish, passing Loyola Marymount at the end of the race to earn a PCH Cup point.

- Junior Olivia Miller (Tallahassee, Fla./Lawton Chiles HS) 69th overall, 23:46.7
- Junior Skyler Danley (Easton, Pa./Easton Area HS) 73rd overall, 23:56.6
- Freshman Eden Mittelsdorf (Nashville, Tenn./Brentwood HS) 78th overall, 24:20.4
- Senior Riley Wright (Chandler, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) 79th overall, 24:25.2

Pepperdine Head Coach Lauren Floris said: "Our teams fought hard out there today. We are proud of how each athlete competed against the runners around them. We were running for our teams today and everyone made their team proud!"
