MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine men's tennis team saw two players advance after matches on Sunday, sending
Andrew Rogers and
Pietro Fellin to the semifinal round of the ITA Southwest Regional held at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.
Both Rogers (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Fellin (Milan, Italy) took down Pac-12 foes on Sunday in the quarterfinals. Rogers defeated UCLA's Stefan Leustian in straight sets, while Fellin grinded out a three-set victory over USC's Bradley Frye.
Pepperdine's doubles team of
Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany) and
Corrado Summaria (Cosenza, Italy) dropped its quarterfinal match against UCLA's Giacomo Revelli/Patrick Zehraj 8-5 on Sunday morning.
