MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine men's tennis team completed its first day of the ITA Southwest Regional with quality wins and an opportunity to continue improving as the weekend progresses.
Six Waves advanced to the round of 32 in singles, which will be played Saturday at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center: Linus Carlsson Halldin (Stockholm, Sweden), Daniel De Jonge (Vlissingen, Netherlands), Tim Zeitvogel (Baden-Baden, Germany), Andrew Rogers (Brentwood, Tenn.), Pietro Fellin (Milan, Italy) and Enrique Luque Rico (Cordoba, Spain).
Two doubles pairs – Corrado Summaria/Tim Zeitvogel and Eric Hadigian/Enrique Luque Rico -- won and advanced to the round of 16, which will also be played on Saturday.
