RANCHO PALOS VERDES, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team had another solid showing during Tuesday's final round at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, the first tournament of the spring season.

After a rough start on Sunday, the Waves bounced back the next two days, moving up two spots on the leaderboard after each round, and finished in 12th place with a total of 886 (307-289-290) at the par-71 Palos Verdes Golf Club.

The tournament boasted a remarkable field with all of the top seven teams in the country according to Golfstat rankings, as well as 12 top-25 teams. All 11 teams that finished ahead of Pepperdine were ranked better than the #44 Waves, and 10 of the 11 were in the top 20.
