MALIBU, Calif. – It was a beautiful day for fans at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon, as the #23 Pepperdine women's tennis team bested UC Santa Barbara 6-1 for a non-conference weekend matchup.
After falling behind in doubles and dropping the point, the Waves (5-3) rallied back in singles to collected six uncontested singles wins over the Gauchos (5-4).
With a 60º and partly cloudy disposition, some fans stayed after the match to participate in the Pepperdine Official College-AM, an experience put on by both the men's and women's tennis squads that provides them the opportunity to both learn from and play with current highly ranked Pepperdine tennis players.
