Waves Finish Day Two at National Invitational Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Pepperdine women's swim and dive team finished up the second day at the National Invitational Championships at Cleveland State.

MEET RECAP
In the second day of the meet, Julianna Chan and Anna Riekhof again competed in the same event, the 100 breast. Chan finished 30th in the field, swimming a 1:04.39, while Riekhof finished 51st with a 1:05.79.

QUOTABLE
"Anna and Julianna both swam great today," said head coach Joe Spahn. "The both moved up from where they were seeded.

"Tomorrow should be another great day as Anna swims the 200 breast and Julianna swims the 100 IM."

The Waves will complete the meet tomorrow, with Chan racing in the 100 IM and Riekhof competing in the 200 breast.
