Lahey, Iamachkine Take WCC Doubles Pair Weekly Accolades

MALIBU, Calif. – The #23 Pepperdine women's tennis team has garnered it's 6^th West Coast Conference weekly honor of the season this week, as Ashley Lahey and Anastasia Iamachkine earned the doubles nod, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.

The doubles honor is Pepperdine's third of the season, while the Waves have also added three singles honors. Each Lahey and Iamachkine have picked up a doubles nod this, although each of them were playing with another partner that week.

#59 Ashley Lahey and Anastasia Iamachkine had a stellar performance in the Waves 6-1 win over UC Santa Barbara on Saturday afternoon. The pair bested Anastasia Goncharova and Juliana Valero by a commanding 6-2 result in the No. 1 position. The duo has posted a 2-1 record in the No. 1 position so far this season.

This is the third doubles nod the Waves have earned, while the team has also picked up three singles honors this season.
