Lahey, Levashova Advance at ITA Fall Nationals

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Ashley Lahey and Evgeniya Levashova of the Pepperdine women's tennis team advanced through rounds in both singles and doubles at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex on day two of the Oracle ITA Fall National Championships Thursday.
In singles, #4-ranked Lahey and #41-ranked Levashova quickly took care of their opponents, with Levashova defeating a ranked opponent. Then, the #26-ranked pair joined up for doubles, taking down higher-ranked #17 Kimberly Yee and Caroline Lampl of Stanford 7-5, 7-6 (5) to end the day.
The Waves will continue with the tournament tomorrow with a quarterfinal doubles match and a pair of round of 16 singles matches on the docket.
