Women's Tennis Closes Final Day of Riviera/ITA All-American Qualifying Draw

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Evgeniya Levashova of the Pepperdine women's tennis team highlighted the final day of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday with a win in the singles back draw at Riviera Tennis Club.
Jessica Failla and Anastasia Iamachkine also had quite a doubles battle against #32 Cameron Corse and Zoe Spence of Notre Dame, falling just short in a tiebreak set. With the losses in doubles, the Waves bow out of the tournament. Pepperdine will not play in singles matches in the main draw.

RIVIERA/ITA ALL-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
This is the 34th-consecutive year of the tournament that invites the nation's top Division I women's players to compete. In addition to vying for the All-American national title, players will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place November 7-11, in Surprise, Ariz. Singles quarterfinalists, consolations singles champion and finalist, along with doubles semifinalists and consolation doubles champion and finalist advance to the end of fall national championship.

Next, the Waves will compete in a flurry of ITF Pro Circuit events before continuing the fall tournament push in November.
