
Pepperdine Takes Second at the PCSC Relays

LA MIRADA, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's swimming and diving team closed out the first day of competition at the PCSC Relays and Pentathlon, taking second in the relay competition.
Pepperdine scored 105 points, sitting only behind California Baptist with 155 points. The Pentathlon competition is tomorrow.
The Waves grabbed six top 3 finishes and Tori Occhipinti placed third in both the one meter and three meter diving events.
Pepperdine placed second in the 3x500 free and 3x100 breast relays. The Waves took third in the 400 free, 4x100 IM, 200 free and 3x100 back relays.
Four Waves swam personal best splits on Friday with Rachel Wong notching two in the 100 back (:59.86) and 100 IM (1:01.86). Lauren Allard posted a personal best in the 100 IM (1:06.29) as well, Kathrine Kuhlmann posted a 1:06.76 in the 100IM and Sam Marlott also bested in the 100IM (1:08.95).
