McGuire Invitational Round 2 Results 
Pepperdine shot 300-296 for a total of a 12-over 596 at the par-73 UNM Championship Course. The Waves trail leader Northwestern by 10 strokes heading into Monday's third and final round.
Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) rebounded from an opening-round 75 to post a 3-under 70 in the afternoon. Her 1-under 145 puts her six strokes back. She had three birdies in the first round, then four in the afternoon against just one bogey. She's looking for her second straight top five finish after tying for second at last week's Golfweek Conference Challenge.
Senior Kaitlin Drolson (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) is also in the top 20, as her 3-over 149 (72-77) has her in a tie for 19th place. She had two birdies and just one bogey in the first round, then had three more birdies in the second.
Three Waves are tied for 37th place at 151. Sophomore Danielle Gillaspy (Santa Maria, Calif./St. Joseph' HS) shot a 79-72, with her score of 1-under in the afternoon setting a personal collegiate best. She had an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole and had three other birdies. Freshman Somin Lee (Denver, Colo./Overland HS) shot 74-77 and had a total of seven birdies on the day. Freshman Alina Ching (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School), playing as an individual while making her collegiate debut, recorded a 77-74.
Sophomore Liv Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) is tied for 72nd place at 159 (80-79).
