Cross Country Seasons Conclude at NCAA Regional

The men’s team placed 24th with 669 points and were led to the finish line by graduate student Cole Feldman (Carroll, Iowa/Kuemper HS), who finished the 10 kilometer course in 32:07.47.
This race served as Pepperdine’s first 10K of the season.

All four of these teams, along with the top two schools from the remaining seven regions, will go out to represent their sport at the NCAA Championships on Monday, Nov. 24 in
Individually on the women’s side, Alex Kosinski won the regional 6K title in 19:59.01, beating teammate Nicole Blood by a little over two seconds.
The Ducks' Galen Rupp cruised to the 10K crown with a time of 27:41.24. His teammate and runner-up Shadrack Kiptoo-Biwott finished almost a minute later at 28:32.21.
Pepperdine’s student-athletes will now begin to prepare for the upcoming 2009 track and field season, which commences in February.
