Waves' XC Wraps up Regular Season at Fullerton

The women’s 5K run begins at 5 p.m. and the men’s 8K is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start. Awards will be given to each first-place team and the top 10 individuals.
Pepperdine head coach Robert Radnoti describes the campus-based course as ‘pancake flat’ and expects good performances from his team as a result.
“Our depth has significantly improved over the past few years and we have several folks running this weekend that have been – and still can be – part of a top-seven team we bring up to Crystal Springs,” he said.
Radnoti looks for Hannah DeWalt (Gig Harbor, Wash/Gig Harbor HS), Emily Branch (Advance, N.C./Forsyth County Day School) and Lauren Burnham (Albuquerque, N.M./Eldorado HS) to lead Pepperdine’s women's team.
For the men, the Waves’ have a solid group headed by David Williams (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS), Brennen Halliday (Big Bear, Calif./Big Bear HS), Alberto Solis (Big Bear, Calif./Big Bear HS), Eric Magana (Whittier, Calif./La Serna HS) and Garrett Reim (Fircrest, Wash./Curtis HS).
