Alum Wins U.S. Trail Running Championships

MALIBU, Calif. -- Former Pepperdine cross country runner and current volunteer assistant coach Dale Reicheneder won the 2007 U.S. Trail Running Championships for the second time, it was announced last week.
Reicheneder topped the "Marathon and Shorter" division. He competed in 19 events in the La Sportiva Trail Runner Trophy Series this year and won five age-group victories. He previously won the title in 2005.
Reicheneder is a litigation attorney who resides in Malibu. He was the Waves' top finisher at the 1989 WCC Championships and placed 10th overall.
