Weather Alters Weekend Schedule Again

Malibu, Calif. - As a result of the ongoing rain, Pepperdine men's tennis coach Adam Steinberg has announced the cancelation of the Pepperdine-University of New Mexico match. The contest was originally scheduled for Friday, but moved to Saturday morning in hopes of clearer skies. The match will not be made up.
The Saturday afternoon match at Pepperdine between New Mexico and the University of Arizona is in serious jeopardy as well. Barring a sudden change in the weather, that match will be lost as well.
As of Saturday morning, officials are hopeful of a weather break on Sunday, so that the Pepperdine-Arizona match may be contested at its original 1:00 p.m. time. Though rain is still being predicted for Sunday, the teams are opptimistic that one of this weekend's three matches will be played.
