Pepperdine-Southern Miss. Volleyball Match Cancelled

MALIBU, Calif. - Tomorrow's University Park Classic opener between #18 Pepperdine and Southern Mississippi has been cancelled, as the Golden Eagles were not able to get out of New Orleans due to airport closures and the impeding hurricane.
No plans have been made to make up the Pepperdine-Southern Miss. match should the team make its way to Colorado.
Southern Miss. is still looking for alternate options for traveling to Fort Collins, Colo. Wednesday.
The Waves will now open play at the Classic on Friday at 6:45 against host school #11 Colorado State. The match will be aired live on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain.
