The Pepperdine women's volleyball team face another top 20 team on short rest as it heads to Santa Barbara, Calif., for a Tuesday-night tilt against the 19th-ranked Gauchos and will return home to face cross-town rival Loyola Marymount Friday night, both matches are slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. (PST).
Pepperdine's (7-12, 4-5 WCC) Christina Hinds is having a memorable senior campaign and is on the brink of breaking a pair of school records and moving into the West Coast Conference (WCC) record books. With 118 more digs Hinds will become the school's all-time leader.
Santa Barbara (16-3, 11-2 Big West) is riding a six-match win streak and has not lost a match since Oct. 9. During their streak, the Gauchos have won posted a 18-2 games record including four sweeps.
